The Plainfield Riverfront Foundation is considering hiring a full-time executive director to oversee implementation of the organization’s mission. The Plainfield Riverfront Foundation is a 501(C)(3) not-for profit corporation formed to raise funds and public awareness to develop the publicly owned land adjacent to the DuPage River in downtown Plainfield into a regional Riverfront park amenity that offers recreation, cultural and economic benefits for the Plainfield community. The Foundation is currently an all-volunteer organization overseen by a 15-member Board of Directors.
